Gavin Evans
Co-founder and Director
Responsible for Accessibility training and consultancy relating to Web and Mobile accessibility, helping organisations achieve Digital Inclusion, Gavin has been in the field of accessibility for 20 years, and is a former invited expert at the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group in the creation of WCAG 2.1.
His focus is ensuring that organisations provide accessible platforms for people with access issues, whether it be internal applications or external facing websites, mobile offerings, Gaming or IPTV user interfaces.

Cam Nicholl

Cam has worked in the accessibility field for over 20 years and is a highly professional, motivated, innovative individual, whose passion for accessibility is widely acknowledged and respected in the field.
Cam has built solid working relationships with many large organisations in both the corporate and public sectors in the UK, and has been working from a global platform, servicing sales from the United States, Australia, France, and Belgium.

Our technical team brings deep expertise in assistive technologies, automated tools, and accessibility auditing.
Deborah
Technical Auditor Manager
Deborah joined the DAC in 2012 after completing a degree in Web Management. The final project that Deborah worked on was centred around accessibility and this is where her interest in the topic, and the people that the considerations help, came from.
Deborah heads up the Technical Auditing team and is responsible for training any new auditors that join us.
Working with auditors to finalise reports and check for solutions before sending them on to clients, Deborah enjoys the challenge of looking into problem code and helping to find solutions that meet WCAG requirements.
Sarah
Senior Technical Auditor
Sarah is a Senior Technical Auditor at DAC with over six years' experience helping organisations improve the accessibility of their digital products and services. She leads end-to-end WCAG accessibility audits, delivers technical consultancy, and supports development teams in implementing effective accessibility solutions.
Prior to specialising in accessibility, Sarah worked in software engineering, data analysis, and mathematics education. This diverse background provides her with a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of how accessibility requirements translate into real-world design and development decisions.
Sarah is currently completing a part-time PhD at Cardiff University, where she researches bias and fairness in Artificial Intelligence systems.

Low Vision Analyst
Brand ambassador
Ziad is a trained ZoomText analyst providing essential testing analysis on client websites both private and governmental. His drive and passion about his work and the effect it eventually has on individuals led to him becoming the Brand Ambassador for the DAC. He has travelled the UK and represented our company by sharing his experience of sight loss and the positive effect that Accessibility has given him.

Siân
Keyboard and Voice Activation Analyst
Brand ambassador
Siân joined the team in 2018 and is now a Senior Voice Activation Analyst and DAC Ambassador. With many years of experience across a wide range of accessibility audits, she enjoys tackling complex challenges, delivering client demonstrations, and helping organisations better understand the experiences of disabled users.
As a full-time wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy, specifically spastic quadriplegia, which affects her whole body, Siân brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. She has extensive experience in voice activation, keyboard accessibility, mobile AssistiveTouch testing, and carrying out complex internal and security-restricted audits.
Outside of work, Siân loves travelling, crocheting, and spending time with friends and family. Known for her enthusiasm and love of keeping busy, she is passionate about accessibility and enjoys supporting others while sharing her knowledge and experience.

Mike J
Senior Screen Reader Analyst
Mike Jones is a senior Screen Reader Analyst. He has been using screen reading software for over 30 years. Mike tests websites and applications using different screen readers on various platforms.
Bex
Senior Voice Activation and Keyboard Analyst
Bex is an expert Voice Activation analyst. She tests websites using voice activation software called Dragon Naturally Speaking. This means that Bex can use the computer through voice commands.
Bex has a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Social Inclusion and has recently completed a PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) course in online teaching. Bex is a wheelchair user with limited mobility in her upper limbs.

Senior Screen Reader Analyst and Trainer
Mike has been using screen reading software for over 30 years. Mike tests websites and applications using different screen readers on various platforms.
Mike delivers many presentations and training on behalf of DAC and brings a real-life experience to the training he delivers. Mike has been blind since birth, and prior to working in accessibility he completed a post graduate teacher training course at Swansea Metropolitan University.

Linn
Finance Manager
Linn joined the company in February 2012 as Office Manager and is now responsible for DAC's Finances. Linn has 24 years' experience in an accountancy environment.
Georgina
Accessibility Team Support Manager
Sales and Service Development Liaison
Georgina joined the Digital Accessibility Centre in August 2020 and as part of the Sales and Service Development team at (DAC), she works closely with clients to support their accessibility needs.
Georgina’s role involves meeting with clients to discuss accessibility requirements, advising on appropriate audit approaches, and producing detailed costings and timelines for scheduled accessibility testing.
She oversees the coordination of projects from planning through to delivery, including booking audits into our internal calendar system and assigning auditors and support team members to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
In addition to sales responsibilities, Georgina supports the management of DAC’s Technical Support team alongside the Operations Manager. This includes helping to ensure high quality service delivery, maintaining team performance, and contributing to the ongoing development of our support processes.

Development Manager
Andrew has 25 years' experience in IT including IT Support, Network Administration and Software Engineering. He experiences Tritanopia (Colour Deficiency), auditory dyslexia and is losing his vision due to diabetes.
